River That Flows Both Ways

The Hudson River was known as Muh-he-kun-ne-tuk (“river that flows two ways”) by the Mohican tribe because the rising tide of the Atlantic Ocean causes the river to flow north, away from the ocean.

The video here was shot in Poughkeepsie looking west.  You see the ice flows going north.
